The Greater Vancouver Business Leadership Network (GVBLN) uses a business to business approach to promote the inclusion of persons with disabilities in the workforce.
The GVBLN is a program of the BC Centre for Ability providing services for individuals with disabilities since 1969.
The goals of the GVBLN are to raise awareness and provide consultation and support to employers fostering inclusion and diversity in the workplace.
- Access to an extensive pool of pre-screened qualified individuals.
- Links to a broad network of organizations serving clients with disabilities.
- Assistance in hiring persons with disabilities through assessments, business profiles, interview techniques, and disability awareness training workshops.
- Opportunity to post jobs online through our interactive employment portal.

Promoting the Hiring of Persons with Disabilities
The second GVBLN “Connections Work” Event of 2011 was held on November 3rd from 10am to 2pm at the Vancouver Public Library.
